This Hawaiian word 'MALU' sums up the goals for Honua's new protecting day cream. This would be the final step in your daily Honua Facial Ritual to keep your skin protected from the sun as well as daily environmental pollutants
A creamy protective barrier that combines modern science with traditional Hawaiian botanicals to help nourish the skin while providing effective sunblock against skin damaging UV rays. Malu marries modern natural protectants with traditional Hawaiian ones and contains all reef-safe ingredients keeping our oceans in mind.
Scents of jasmine merge with antioxidant noni and nourishing laukahi for a creamy, luxurious day cream that does not leave a white cast. Honua uses non-nano zinc oxide, which is broad spectrum.
Honua donates a percentage of the proceeds from MALU to Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii, a non-profit that educates the community and keeps the oceans clean.
HOW TO USE
Dispense 1-2 pumps onto clean, hydrated skin.
- For drier skin, we love using 'ÅŒlena Oil then allow it to sink into skin before applying Malu.
- For more oily skin, you can apply Malu directly after the Aloha Youth Serum for maximum moisture and protection.
* Caution:
- Children under 6 months of age: ask a doctor before use.
- For external use only. Do not use on damaged or broken skin.
- When using this product keep out of eyes.
- Rinse with water to remove.
- Stop use and ask a doctor if rash occurs.
- Keep out of reach of children. If product is swallowed, get medical help or contact a professional or Health Care Center right away.
THE HONUA SKINCARE RITUAL
› Step 1: Apply 2-3 pumps of the Pa'akai Cleansing Cream in your hand and massage on to your face, add water to emulsify and rinse clean.
› Step 2: Apply 2-3 pumps of the Hawaiian Beauty Water on a cotton round and gently wipe across entire face and decollete. This process not only tones, hydrates, but helps to remove dead skin to leave skin glowing.
› Step 3: Apply a pea size amount of the Aloha Youth Serum to your hand and gently massage onto the face and decollate. Let it penetrate while thinking beautiful thoughts before moving on to the next step.
› Step 4: Apply 2-3 drops of the Olena Oil into your palms and warm up before gently pressing into skin. This will leave your skin feeling hydrated, plump and give you the signature Honua glow.
› Step 5: Apply Honua's beloved Malu Moisturizer + SPF30 to your face. Honua serum and oil have some natural sun protectants built in, however, additional protection is encouraged.
