Winki Zinc is an Australian brand dedicated to protecting natural beauty and the environment. Founded by Belinda, who was inspired by the harmful effects of traditional sunscreens on marine ecosystems, Winki Zinc offers a range of natural, sustainable sun protection products.
Their reef-safe, plastic-free sunscreens are made with 100% natural ingredients like zinc oxide, Vitamin E, and coconut oil. The brand emphasises minimalism, eco-friendly packaging, and multi-purpose products, allowing users to simplify their skincare routines while enjoying effective sun protection.
Winki Zinc's commitment to sustainability extends to their recyclable aluminium tubes and compostable cork seals, ensuring their products are kind to both your skin and the planet.
MEET THE FOUNDER - BELINDA EVELYN
Belinda founded Winki Zinc in 2018 after learning about the damage sunscreen and skin care products were doing to our marine environment.
She is a keen surfer and outdoor adventurer, having spent most of her 20's under the Australian sun, and preferring no protection to chemical protection. After noticing the early signs of premature ageing caused by the sun, she endeavoured to design a healthier option that made wearing SPF fun.
She has a background in pharmaceutical manufacturing, as well as environmental education. These two skills worked in harmony to help her realise the dream of Winki Zinc.
