Should I use these or the tonic? What’s the difference?

Ursa Major originally created these wipes as a way for customers to sample their Essential Face Tonic - only to find out that they were a huge hit in and of themselves! We like using our tonic on a cotton round when at home, and reaching for a face wipe when we need a quick skin reset—after the gym, work, a long flight, a late night, or on the go.

Do these remove makeup?

You bet! These mighty little wipes effectively remove sweat, grime, SPF and makeup, including eye liner, eye shadow, and mascara.

Can I use these on my body?

Though Ursa Major designed the Essential Face Wipes with the face in mind, they are perfectly safe to use on the neck, chest, underarms, or anywhere else that needs a quick refresh in a pinch.

Is this product pregnancy-safe?

Essential Face Wipes do contain a small amount of natural salicylic acid (a type of BHA) from Willow Bark. While salicylic acid is an ingredient typically avoided during pregnancy, it is included in this product at a very low amount (less than 0.5%).

That said, we always recommend checking in with your healthcare provider about ingredient lists and any new products during pregnancy.

Does this contain fragrance?

Essential Face Wipes have a fresh, herbal aroma that comes entirely from real plant extracts—zero synthetic fragrances.
